Weekend Recap for the Maxxis Nationals Championship Race held at Iron City Motorsports Complex in Blacksburg, South Carolina (10/16-17/2021)๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

The racing this past weekend was different than what Logan was accustomed to and definitely a learning experience. There was 41 karts competing in Jr 3 with an age range of 12-15 and only 20 karts advanced into the feature. After qualifying, top 16 karts locked into the feature, remaining 25 karts were split into two consiโ€™s with top 2 karts in each consi transferring into the Feature. The 4 karts advancing from the consi had to stay on the track and join the other 16 karts immediately following the checkered flag of the second consi with no break/tire change or adjustment opportunity. {20 Kart Starting field for the Feature}

Extremely proud of Logan as he was one of the youngest in the class, made both features each day, won a consi and fought his way back to a top 10 finish in the feature on Sunday!

Day 1:
Jr 3 Lite Qualified 18th out of 41 Karts
Jr 3 Consi #2- Started: 1st ; Finished: 1st
Jr 3 Feature- Started: 18th; Finished: DNF

Logan qualified 18th, had to run consi #2 where he started on the pole and won. Lodogg stayed on the track and joined the field in the 18th starting position of the feature, but later pulled off and did not finish.

Day2:
Jr 3 Heavy- Qualified: 13th ; Finished: 10th

Logan qualified 13th locking himself into the feature, got tangled up in a few wrecks, lost a side panel, but fought his way back up to a 10th position finish in the feature.

A big thank you to all of our sponsors and crew/family that help keep our program rolling!
